Corrugated Board Recycling

Mind’s Eye Graphics, Inc. is dedicated to performing business in an ecological approach that is environmentally conscience.  Recycling corrugated board boxes helps conserve natural resources and energy.

Corrugated board is a bulky, highly recyclable waste. Corrugated cardboard can be identified by its multi-layer construction and its brown color. The wavy middle layer is what gives the cardboard its strength, while at the same time making it light in weight. Corrugated board boxes are inexpensive to produce and to date, the most efficient shipping container used to package and move materials securely. Keeping this material out of the waste stream will mean saving landfill space in areas where disposed materials are land filled, and reducing pollution through avoided incineration where waste is incinerated.

Corrugated board boxes must be broken down flat before pick up for recycling.  They are then moved to our storage units, large appliance size boxes.  We fill these up, and Adam’s County Waste Management Recycling Facility picks them up.  We fill approximately three of these large appliance sized boxes every 2 weeks.
